Ceeow has today announced his first single for 2021, ‘FADEAWAY’, available to pre-save now. It’s a track that possesses positive energy towards him growing as an artist and his new found fluidity to bounce around this space of change. Born on the back of his debut album release late last year, Ceeow has continued to collaborate with Himalia, the prolific producer from ‘The Garden’ album. ‘FADEAWAY’ will drop on all streaming platforms Friday 23rd July.

Pursuing his mantra on maintaining the health of your inner being, this clever wordsmith demonstrates how important it is to allow ourselves to move on and flourish through the process. ‘FADEAWAY’ is an uplifting single that fuses together elements of hip-hop, jazz and chillwave, with soft spoken lyricism that instantly puts you in a better mood after listening.

The single is accompanied by a music video featuring Ceeow and his crew, including Himalia, hanging out around Manchester. Scenes in the video fluctuate from day to night with glim lighting and sunshines skies while Ceeow enjoys a fun-loving groove throughout his performance. An example of his positive essence and feelings of freedom that the song brings.

Prior to this, Ceeow has been rather busy during the pandemic. He released his debut album ‘The Garden’ in November 2020, has been part of Giles Peterson’s Future Bubblers programme and formed a band - The Greenskeepers’ Band. At the start of this month, he took to Instagram to announce the formation of his band with six live gigs planned for the summer including performances at Manchester International Festival and London’s Jazz Cafe.

Ceeow wishes to translate all of his tunes into a live show with The Greenskeepers’ Band. He uses ‘The Garden’ as a metaphor for the soul and inner monologue; that one must tend to their garden, spend time in and learn from other people’s gardens. Ceeow believes that acts of counselling cultivate the ground for new growth in your garden and he is currently building a live show and platform to explore this conversation around mindfulness.

Manchester’s favourite hood hippie has gone from strength to strength since releasing his first EP in 2019. Now, with his future shining bright, ‘FADEAWAY’ is here to celebrate the fun that he has had along the way with producer Himalia, encompassing the energy that they will be pushing forward.
